About Central District
The Central District of Tacoma is full of excellent shopping. Along one boundary runs 6th Avenue, where you can find some of the best bars, restaurants, and small boutiques. Local to the area is one of Tacoma’s oldest private high schools, Bellarmine Prep, the highly rated Allenmore hospital, and the 206-acre Allenmore Golf Course, which was founded in 1930!
