About Fircrest
Fircrest is a small village-like town that is surrounded completely by Tacoma and University Place. The community has several parks and is home to two golf courses, Fircrest Golf Club and Meadowpark. The homes in the area are a little older as the majority of them were built in the 1950’s and 60’s, but they make up for it with Mid-Century charm and perfectly maintained yards. Events like the Annual Strawberry Feed and neighborhood block parties grow out of the neighborhood and community spirit of Fircrest. You’ll find that this area is also very walkable, which makes it easy to get to a cute cafe for your morning coffee, but it’s also a quick drive into Tacoma or University Place for more dining and shopping options.
