Magnolia is a picturesque neighborhood separated from Downtown by Smith Cove, and separated from Ballard and Queen Anne by Interbay. In the summer, you can often spot the snow-capped Olympic Mountains to the West and Alaska-Bound cruise ships docked to the South. Magnolia is also home to the city’s largest park, Discovery Park. Once home to 20,000 soldiers, Discovery Park has hundred of acres of green space, miles of forested running trails, and a beach with some of the best tidepools the Puget Sound has to offer. Although Magnolia can be described as quiet and secluded thanks to its location on a peninsula, it does have an active community with farmers markets, dining, and shopping. If a view home near the city’s largest park would be a good place for you, look no further than Magnolia.
