About Laurelhurst
Laurelhurst is one of Seattle’s oldest suburbs. With beautiful tree lined streets and stately historic homes, this neighborhood has attracted affluent professionals for a long time. Laurelhurst is north of Union Bay and east of the University of Washington. Although this neighborhood feels as though itβs tucked away, it’s only about 6 miles from downtown. This area has managed to keep development to a minimum, enabling it to keep its historic charm. In addition to the beautiful collection of stately homes, if you head over to Sand Point Way, on the western end, you will find a fantastic collection of shops, restaurants, and coffee shops.
