About Stadium District
The Stadium District centers around Stadium High School, a century-old building originally intended to be a hotel resembling a French Chateau. Throughout the walking-friendly neighborhood, you will find impeccably maintained view homes, a variety of hip cafes and stores, like Cosmonaut Coffee and Parkway Tavern, and even a locally-owned indie movie theater. With all of this and more located only a short walk, run, bus-ride, or drive from the center of Tacoma’s Business District and Ruston Way, it’s not hard to see why Stadium is such a desirable neighborhood.
