About DuPont
DuPont is located just off I-5, south of Steilacoom and Lakewood. It’s also very close to Joint Base Lewis-McChord, which makes it a popular place to live for our military families. If you love golf, there are two great golf courses here, The Home Course and Eagle’s Pride Golf Course. This area is also a short distance away from the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, which is a protected estuary and a fantastic place to spend the day wandering the trails, looking for wildlife. The neighborhood is a planned community, so you’ll see a lot of new construction homes, however there is an “old part” of DuPont where you can find some more historic homes.
